Rare on SC430's. Very common on SC400/300's. Lexus will most likely warranty this provided car is still within warranty period. Let us know

Default CPO'd vs factory Warranty

My car is CPO'd.......are you sure (100%) that CPO'd Lexus will not be covered when the Headlights are fogging (moisture inside headlight housing)?
My car has about 38K miles on it......

if you are right, that will totally be a bummer. .....I will let you know very soon when I goto the dealership......

With only 38k miles, I am sure you will be taken care of. Please let us know how it goes.

just do't even "question" the CPO warranty. just tell them you have this problem and want to see if they can replace the headlights under warranty

thanks RominL.....I will do that.....

just wanted to ask also, since the headlights are fogging and moisture is inside the headlight housing.....does that mean the "whole" headlight assembly has to be replaced? or can the dealership "reseal it"?????

i was looking at ebay, and brand new headlight assembly for SC430 was $350 each. Is this the going price for one complete headlight assembly?

they won't reseal it, that's not part of the procedure for headlight condensation. they have to replease the whole housing.

a lot of GS owners have that problem and lexus replace the whole headlight assembly.

if you talk about just the housing assembly, i think around 400 bucks each is ok. but if you talk about the whole headlights including ballasts, bulbs, etc... retail price at lexus is over 1k each
