Default Foggy Headlights - Already Searched

Hello, I was wondering how to fix these foggy headlights, i have already tried polishing them with Meguiars PlastX and stuff but it seems like the problem is from the inside. I have searched other people's problems but couldn't fix a solution. I am under warranty, so is the dealer able to get me a new set of lenses for free? The foggyness is not really severe so I don't know if they will do it or not. What do you guys think?

I think you'll have to open it and buff it from the inside , but be careful not to do it in a humid enviroment .

If you are still under warranty your dealer ship have no problem giving you a new headlight. On my 03 RX330 that I bought in 2003, I developed condensation in both my headlights early 2006. I had about 38K miles (2K miles before the end of my warranty) and they replaced both headlights for me. One of my lights were already dry, but you could still see some water spots left from the condensation so that was enough to proove it had moisture at one time.

I bought my 02 GS3 last year and it was still under warranty. The dealership replaced it...no questions asked. If your still under warranty take it to them!!!!

If it's under warranty, then it's a "no-brainer". Take it in and have them give you some nice, new ones.

Those of you that had the headlights replaced under warranty, how bad was the condensation? I have a CPO 2001 GS3 and have some condensation on my headlights. It wouldn't hurt to get a new set of headlights. Did the dealership let you keep your old ones, because you could use those to do a retrofit conversion.

each of these links has atleast 1-2 pages if not more of relevant information... i could come up with more creative search ideas, and also expand my search out of the GS only forum, but im running out of time to mess around with it right now... and BA- dont direct any more commands my way bro , especially if thats the only reason youre going to post and not even bother to offer the kid any help or suggestions

Why the attitude?

You know your links dont' work right?

I went ahead and did the first one in your list. 700+ replies and over 64 threads. And that's just for "Headlight condensation" THAT IS NOT A GOOD SEARCH!! Just putting key words in a search doesn't guarantee it's going to have an answer.

My point to you, since you didn't see it, was to hope that you would realize that *you dont' know* whether he searched or not, NOR how long he was reading threads that didn't have good info for him. Judge not my friend. I'm tired of seeing people come down on others at this site without good reason. It's just not very nice.

Let's be clear,.... me saying "lighten up" is way different than you telling me to "and BA- dont direct any more commands my way bro , especially if thats the only reason youre going to post and not even bother to offer the kid any help or suggestions".

You see, I DO have a DIY out there regarding the yellowing of headlights but I don't have the INSIDE fogging problem so I'm expecting someone else to help the guy, which you did not do either in case you didn't notice..

sucks that my links didnt work, must have something to do with the way i cut/pasted them after each search... that stinks it took me a few minutes to post that all up and now its useless. anyway BA, do not IM me again trying to start, and i dont appreciate you calling me a jerk-off either, just because you did it in an IM doesnt make you a saint, your blocked now so dont waste my/your time with your useless and arrogant comments again, they will no longer be acknowledged.

Just remove the bulbs and blow the hairdryer into headlight and it will evaporate in less than 20 minutes.
