Sometime in August i got hit by a drunk driver. Totaled my baby. Im ok now, glad to be alive. Gonna try and get back into the forum again and be active.
Also before the accident i had a few things for sale and had been communicating with a couple of you guys, so apologies if you just didnt hear from me or got no reply. Really didnt mean to waste anyone's time.

As for what im doing now, the engine took no hit so im currently pulling the engine and 5spd trans out and im gonna put it on a shell i had for parts. Gonna try and swap over as much parts as i can.
So, glad to still be here and hopefully i can start posting more often again. THANKS!

Definitely a hard hit but glad you are ok.

Cars are easily replaced but lives cannot , I've seen many accidents in my career where people did not make it through... glad you made it through.

Kind of a bitter sweet welcome back. Looks like another SC held up to the test and helped another one of us lucky drivers walk away.. These things are tanks. Glad you are ok, probably too early to tell but I would assume you will be getting a small settlement sooner or later from the other drivers insurance company yeah?

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yah im fine. The SC was a tank, had it been any other car i probably would have been done. The officer that responded to my call said that the night before he had a similar call and that THAT person didnt make it, and my car looked worse than his.

I just ordered a bunch of new parts, maybe ill start a build thread and post pics of the progress

Also. Good news, my driver side headlight survived lol. Those things are pricey so will only have to get passenger side

Drunk drivers sicken me. I'm grateful that you are unharmed. SCs are such a blessing because they always seem to protect their owners Good luck with transferring your parts and I pray all goes well for you. I've always told myself that what you lose will be returned to you double in blessing. Keep that in mind You're here for a reason. Best of luck buddy.

Wow! She was hit pretty hard! Glad you're alright! That's what I like about our SCs-they're built really well, and will sustain a crash.
