Windshield Washer spray issue
On my 2011, the washer spray pattern is fine until I get over 50km/hr. once I exceed this the spray gets lower and lower until at highway speed it's a puddle of spray at the base of the windshield. On my VW Golf, I was able to pinpoint the direction of the nozzle by using a small pin, but I was told that this does not work by my dealer advisor. Does anyone else have this issue, or is my service advisor full of it?

I had the exact same question, the washer aim is "barely" high enough at low speeds, but at higher speeds it's sometimes tough to get the top of the windshield clean. I had a look at the washer nozzles. They seem snapped onto the lower edge of the hood and they have 2 tiny bumps that rest on the underside of the hood that prevent them from angling any higher. I had thought about gently filing down the two little bumps to see if I could get a bit higher aim, but it's been too cold to play lately so it remains on my "to check out on a nice day" list.

I had mine fixed today. They are not adjustable but Lexus makes 3 different models. Neutral, 2 degrees down and 2 degrees up. They will replace yours under warranty. I would have them put in the 2 degrees up one so it covers your whole windshield.

can you explain this more? how is that written on your work order part number etc? I have the same issue and this may be something they don't get too much of.

That's for the one that sprays 2 degrees up. Since its not adjustable Lexus makes 3 different parts for the washer. Seems stupid to me. Most people get the neutral one. I think it may have to do with the hood alignment. Its' the only thing that would make the washers spray in different places. Hope that helps!

This is great info, unfortunately my timing is poor, I was at my dealer last week and hadn't seen these replies. Will have to print and keep in mind for my next visit.
