steering wheel did not moved back in after turn off
my 2008 lexus rx350 has an wired issue since this weekend.
we travel to high elevation, and had both iphone and GPS plugged in.
after we turned off the engine and get key out, the steering wheel stop at high position and did move back in, and we can not lock the car by remote either. put the key in and turn on/off the engine will solve the problem
this issue kept happening once a while, in beginning I fought it was because I open the passenger door just after engine turn off, cut the power supply, but it also happened without door open.
I also suspect if the iPhone/GPS charge sucks the battery power, but it also happened after I remove the iphone and GPS.
COuld you help me on this, give me some clue for the reasons...
Thanks a lot in advanced.

Welcome to CL first and foremost.
Try to disconnect your battery for at least 15-20 seconds to reset your settings. The try again. You will have to reset everything and you can find out the details in your owner's manual.
Iphone and GPS will not really discharge your battery, unless your alternator is acting up.
Take it to a local BM Auto store and have it checked for the alternator and your battery.
Good luck.

This may be unrelated and not helpful at all but we had an issue with our 06 steering wheel not going back into position. We found out the ignition was getting stuck after the key was removed. I then dtermined you could literally push the ignition with your finger and it would immediately click and the steering wheel would move out of the way. The whole time the ignition was not going back to original position because it was physically stuck. No electrical or battery issue.
