How to remove the plastic portion under the gear shifter
Hi guys,
Like the title states, how do I remove the plastic portion under the gear shifter? I pryed up the wood trim around the shifter to expose 4 phillips head screws, with those removed it still wont budge. Any ideas how to get this off? I want to hide a powersupply back there and a few other things. lemme know

if you have some fingernails you can pull at the outer plastic trim and it will take off the trim around the whole console and the shifter. and there is a lot of room back there!

removing the part
The wood trim should be release with a screwdriver (Taped to avoid scrachtes) and them pull out, with the transmition in L.
To take out the plastic part below, you should take out the glove box and the lower panel for the Left side as well.
It is not difficult, some screws and thats it. Be very careful when taking out the glove box with the airbag connections on the top of the glove box!
Then you have to take out the screws located on the front part of the plastic (feet location), the rest of the screws, and thats it!
Take your time to avoid braking anything.
