Need to buy rebuilt heads.
I've been experiencing lots of engine problems: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...nder-head.html
So I pulled the head and checked for leaks, and what do you know, the intake valves on cyl 5 leak. instead of replacing those valves, i decided to just put some rebuilt heads on it and call it a day.
I have no problem finding 1mzfe heads, but none of them support VVTI. So I thought I would ask you guys if you know of any good retailer that sells rear heads for a 1mzfe vvti rx300.
Thanks

why dont you just get the head serviced, they should be able to put a new seat in the valve, and fix anything necessary unless the head is cracked....

I agree with Thomas1, I wouldn't waste my time slapping on a questionable, used head given all the work involved. Do it right. Definitely get your head(s) rebuilt from a machine shop that you trust.

That being said, If anyone knows any good machine shops near the Atlanta area, let me know. Also, given the fact I want this done right, I have no problem sending my heads to a shop in a different state.etc. Let me know if you guys know of a good place. Thanks.

You know there is no magic about these heads, any reputable shop should be able to handle it...Call your local Toyota dealer and ask them where they get their machine work done.

I think I'll give that a shot. I have a hard time trusting work that isn't mine, I know that anyone who does this for a living will probably have no problem with it.
