sounds funny...but how much can i expect to have my heads resurfaced and gasket replaced? i have the parts just wondering on the labor...and it's for a 2jz
why dont you just find a machine shop and walk it in there yourself? you can get the head shaved for under $100, at least i know a machine shop in brooklyn that does it
Is the head populated with the valve train when you send it out?
yeah the complete head would be sent out...does that make a difference?

i would...it's just that i don't have the time for that...still working on my thesis project...anyways i have no problem taking everything apart just not confident enough to put it back
Many machine shops don't like to mill aluminum heads with the cams and valve train installed. They will disassemble them prior to milling and reassemble prior to returning to you. Inquire as to their experience milling heads such as yours, and their experience putting them back together if disassembled and cleaned.
