I used to have a battery wrap on my old Optima Red Top and recently put this one from DEI on my little Deka ETX30L battery to protect it better from heat.

just out of curiosity what do you have hooked up to your battery and also what sort of mods have you done to intake?? sorry to be off topic but just curious after seeing pics.

Transmission dipstick sits out to let out heat (same for the engine oil dipstick). I've had zero issues doing this and something I picked up from running track in Mexico to keep heat down between runs.
