Shift Solenoid C number?
I just came up on some mixed information. I need clarification. On the A650E auto transmission for the GS300, what number solenoid is solenoid C?
Research results show it is number 2. A repair diagram shows me it's number 3. These things are pricey so I want to get it right the first time.

I pulled a soft CEL for the code that pertains to a bad shift solenoid "C". The car drives legit. I just replacing it as soon as I can before it leaves me stranded. The only issue now is identifying solenoid C. Search results showed it being solenoid No. 2 but a repair diagram I found shows that it is No.3.

A few searches I've done yielded those results. That is what compelled me to create this for thread, for clarification. I already bought a No.2. I'm going to do the job myself this weekend if I get some free time. I'll be using a multimeter to identify to offending unit.

It is a very straight forward job. Just remember to replace the magnets in the tranny pan after cleaning it before you re-install.
