-EDIT-
so i got the transmission finally. now i cant find any driveshafts. i already put up a BTW. my question is.
has anyone done what sholexman mentioned? about taking the auto spine to a driveshaft shop to make one?
-OLD-
ok so ive been researching the auto to W58 swap on my sc300 but still have some questions. thanks in advance.
_parts needed_
-W58 transmission
-do the mk3 tranny work just like the newer W58s?
-flywheel
-clutch
-drive shaft
-can i use auto drive shaft?
-clutch pedal
-anyone have pictures or anything of a modded mk3 one to fit? or anyother car clutch pedal that will fit??
-Clutch master and slave
-do mk3 ones work? anyother cars?
-clutch lines.

2.No you cannot use it different legnth.(if you can't find one go to a driveshaft shop and have them use the auto spine and give them a measure ment of how long the driveshaft is.)
3.It fits ,but don't do it cause you have to take out the foot rest. Even with it removed you have no space to shift comfortbly. You need to put a longer threaded rod in it also to make it fully engage. Find a SC300 one.
4.Other then the MK3/SC300 nothing to my knowledge works.

The W58 can hold around 400 hp without issues if maintained. The R-154 can hold over 600 and can hold boost. Pricing is crazy for the R-154's over $500. Simple lower horsepower applications go with the W58 if your running high er HP under 1000 get a r-154. The input shaft bearing on those have a tendancy of giving out ,but it depends on the condition of the tranny.

Some strange info.
First off, what makes you not able to use any W58 you want? You can use ANY SC300/MK4 W58 without a problem. The only major difference is where the shifter lands. The earlier models you need to cut about 4" or so forward and the later ones is like 2" forward if its going in an automatic SC.
The shifter on the early models bends back to compensate for the extra distance where as the later model goes straight up.
You can use the SC300 manual drive shaft for any year with those 2 transmissions...
Now for the W58 from the MK3. Like I said there is no reason why you cant use it... but it has its issues just like the famous MK3 R154 swap.... You guys recall the issues with that swap?
Shifter sits forward a lot more requiring nearly a 3" shifter extension mod...
The drive shaft is completely different. You apparently can hybridize it (MK3 front section and SC300 rear).
Thats all the info I can think of off the top of my head. With that said.... I would jump on any 92+ W58 from and SC and any 93.5+ W58 from an MK4 Supra and avoid the MK3.
Just me.. you can do what you want. Its your car. I just have first hand experience with all 3 transmissions and them going in SC's...

Edit another note*
DO NOT USE THE MK3 CLUTCH PEDAL! I have it currently in my car and it is the absolute worse thing ever. You know how the SC300 clutch pedal goes into the firewall? The MK3 pedal goes into the floor. You are limited on your range of movement... It makes bleeding it hard as hell. You need to extend the piston to even get fluid through it.... Seriously, nightmare, avoid at all costs. On other note, anyone selling a clutch pedal assembly for a SC300?
