Default Difficulty shifting w/'92 SC300 5spd

Shifting in general feels very stiff, mostly having trouble going into first and reverse, having to make several attempts to get it in gear, and sometimes having to force it. Someone had mentioned before that this may be due to a bad bushing somewhere in the gearbox, if this is so, How would you go about replacing it?

i have this same prob in my 97. Is it easier for you to put it in first after making a full stop or do you have to force it in all the time?

most cars wont go in first until it comes to a complete stop .cheack your shifter bushings and fluid that might be the culprit

usually it goes in first much easier after a full stop. More concerned with going into reverse, sometimes it can take up to a minute to finally get in gear.
