Default Dash "BRAKE" light on

It's crazy ............At outside temps below 45, the dash "BRAKE" light comes on, and stays on until the temp rises -- been doing this for 6-8 months. Any ideas?

Kimbill, check your brake fluid and also check your brake pads wear.

Toyota/Lexus brake fluid indicator sensors are very touchy. Even though upon visual inspection the level may be above the MIN__ and below the MAX___ marks, the low level sensor still gets triggered, hence your light on the dash board. It may be that the fluid volume reduces enough in the cold to trip the sensor, however in the warms temps is does not.

Just add a little new DOT III brake fluid to the reservoir. you should be all set.
