VSC warning, tract control, 4-Lo light
I have a 2011 570 LX 73k miles
The lights listed below just started this morning.
VSC warning, tract control, 4-Lo light, check engine
I've read several old posts on on these issues that have boiled down to:
Gas cap O-ring issue
Headlight out
Fuse blown
-I tried the 'build up the o-ring using electrical tape repair', no change.
-Headlights look fine
I've read to take it to pep boys or auto zone to get a free diagnostic opposed to taking it to the dealer. Does anyone have any experience with any of this?
I'm hesitant to take it to my dealer here as they've already tried to charge me for a new tire when I had a slow leak saying they weren't repairable, then when I took it to discount tire they plugged it for free. It only takes once to lose faith in a dealer.

I had similar issues wit Sequoia. Mice chewed some wires and sensors. But I would check the error codes first. You can take it somewhere or buy a cheap OBDII scanner.

I had a dashboard light-show on wife's LX due to a short in the tailgate harness where it folds between the body and lift gate. What you're seeing can have more than a single cause.

Is it throwing a code when tested? You'll need to know.
So many possibilities - loose or broken abs sensor wires, could even be emissions...you might just need an 02 sensor.

Any update on this issue? have you got the code yet? O2 sensor is the common problem for LS 430 with VSC, Tract light on...
But for 73K miles, don't change the O2 until you know other issue has been address.

Since you have a CHECK ENGINE light, you will have an associated code. Your local parts house can check this for you for free. Post up the code. That will tell you more than anything else what the issue is.
FYI - I have had a similar issue and the other lights are just telling you that those systems are currently not available because of what ever is throwing the code.

129000 miles
around 320ish miles ago same thing happened since i bought it at 123000 miles and the issue seemed to be triggered after i filled at krogers, i have been filling at shell or tier 1 since i bought it so it may have been gas related. anyways i plugged OBD II and pulled P0456 code which points to evaporation emission system leak. It usually is related to loose gas cap so i just reset the code at that time.
It drove for 320ish miles and during that wife refilled once but this time it was tier 1. Couple of nights ago she told me that lights are on i told her why didnt you turn them off why are you telling me they are on then she mentioned the ones on the dash like last time then i was like OH...
so i plugged OBD II again and same code. I checked the gas cap seal to see any signs of wear but it looked fine so i tightened it and cleared code. Now i am waiting to see if the code comes back again then definitely ill start with replacing the gas cap and proceed from there.
