Pulled the trigger on high mileage LS460
I have been debating on purchasing a 2010 ls with 96k miles on it for 24,750. So i decided to pull the trigger on it and so far very happy. I have had a 2007 s500 and a 2008 750li and this car rides better by far. Only two things bother me, youcant enter nav info or phone numbers while driving and the door sill emblems dont illuminate. My RX350 has the illuminating door sills from the factory, it seems the flagship sedan would have these as well. As far as the nav goes, I understand the DVD player not operational while moving (as well as the benz and bmw) but not being able to use the gps or phone. Thats pretty tough! So i've read the prestigious society plug in play will cure this, Is this the only option available? I am not very good installing things myself if you want the finished product looking the same as it did before starting.

You can enter verbal destinations into the NAV. Watch the video of Lexus Drivers website and register your car too to see the service history of the Lexus. If you don't have a manual you can order a free replacement there too.

Also, I installed these and they look VERY cool:

Which wires did you tap into for this? If I don't have to pull a door panel for leads I might grab a set - I take it you get 2 in this auction? I'd probably do all 4 doors.

Yes you get two. So for twenty bucks and 2 minutes of your time, you get four new lights. It's a no-brainer. Looks awesome at night and the image on the ground is crystal clear. really gets attention from passengers and passer-bys!

Congrats on your Lexus LS! Those two things are minor compared to the comfort, reliability and dependability that comes with owning a Lexus LS. The LS maintenance/repairs bills will be less than the S500 and 750 iL. 96K miles isn't nothings for a Lexus, so enjoy your fine automobile.

As Shibumi mentioned.....PS (Presigious Society Module), is the bomb.

Roadfrog, thanks for the info on the logo lights. I just ordered a set of four for my 04 UL. This was a no brainer, as they are dirt cheap, don't require modification, and can be replaced with the original if they fail or don't work out.

A simple feature I did to be able to call phone numbers I call a lot is I put them on speed dial. You can dial those while driving. I'm sure they don't want you looking through your contacts list while driving. They have removed the liability for themselves by doing that.
Road frog, I'd like to see those lights on your car too. Thanks.
