How to reset "Oil Service Light" on an LS460
Hi! Does anyone know how to reset the oil service indicator? I called the dealer and they just want me to take the car to them so they can reset it. I live 1 1/2 hour from the nearest dealer. Any help is appreciated.

More information needed.
I've read the owner's manual. I've reset the oil service and filter service information in the maintenance section. The stupid light still takes over the display every 10 seconds or so, blocking me from seeing the information I selected. Can you be more specific about where in the owner's manual, or better yet indicate what the steps are to fix the problem?

Make sure your trip odometer is on trip A
With the car turned off, press and hold the reset button for the trip odometer
Foot off the brake, press the start button twice while holding down the reset
button and wait for it to reset.
Maintenance light will go off.
Turn off ignition.
Hope this helps...

Here is a thing for everyone to do. Open notepad (windows users)... Copy the below text from Craig B

Print, Fold up and put in your glove compartment in your car. So in 3 months when it comes on again, and you do your oil change, you wont remember this thread. So you go in your glove box and there is the directions. So your not back on here searching because you forgot...
