A/C issue
I am having a little problem with the "Auto" air circulating feature on the LS460. On my LS430 once you press the air circulating feature and the "Auto" lighted up, that feature will stay on even when you turn the A/C or engine off. On the LS460 I noticed that when you press the air circulating feature until you get the "Auto". Ifd you turn the engine off, when you turn the engine on again that feature is recycled and then you have to press until you get the "Auto" lighted up again.
As I said, on the LS430 once you did it once no matter what the feature will stay on even if the engine was turned off and on.
Anyone having the same issue, care about it, or knows how to enable that option and leave it on Auto even if the engine is turned off?

spwolf - he means why does the 'auto' on setting get lost every time the car is restarted? It certainly stayed on in the RX and GS I've owned.

As far as I know the features you choose are kept even when you turn off the engine and turn it on again next day for example. The fact that the LED on the air circulating mode isn't on the Auto doesn't mean it won't change to outside air / inside circulation.
Also, when you turn off the engine with the A/C on Auto, at least on my car when I turn the engine on again the Auto function is still selected. Of course the A/C will only kick in after the engine is warmed up again.

If this is still confusing let me know and I will find a way to explain it better. Thanks.

And he's not talking about automatic temperature control, he's talking about auto for the recirc. The recirc button cycles (at least it did on my old GS) from outside air, inside air, auto, etc.
