I can't get my fresh air/recirculate switch to stay on "auto" after shutting the ignition off (GS450h). It defaults to "fresh air". This seems to be a preference settable item, but my dealer could not get it to default to the auto setting. A small problem, but in the face of otherwise near perfection, it's getting really annoying--I hate having to remember to push the button! Have no idea why the dealer cannot set this (it's supposed to default to "auto" as standard, per the settings sheet). Help and/or guidance, please!

 

Try a different dealer, that's not normal.

 

hehe well whatever you do, don't drive through farmlands or rural areas with 'AUTO' on ... it can't recognize the manure (poopy) smell and block it out... did this once and I was about to puke while I was driving.
