2006 LS430 OEM battery CCA??
I am trying to find the CCA on the OEM battery on a LS430. I had it replaced in 2012 and after 45 months, it is failing. The replacement Interstate battery says 800CCA but the store said my replacement battery only needed 550CCA. I know more is better, but what was installed by the factory?? I don't want to put in the 550CCA if it needs the 800CCA and vice versa.

I can recommend you go with the 800 CCA.What is the price difference between the 550 and 800? Anyway I think the factory battery was rated in the high 700s.
BTW, 45 months is pretty typical lifespan for a car battey these days.

Well yesterday I spent the day calling Interstate battery dealers. I got prices ranging from $119 to $135 to $158 for the same battery. I went to the $119 dealer and gave him my battery and mentioned that it was only 45 months old, and he prorated the cost of the new battery from $119 to $85, so think I got a good deal.
