Default LS430 Battery Replacement

Hi there,

The battery in my LS430 hasn't been replaced since I bought the car (2011), and recently we have been intermittently having battery-related issues. I found an old thread on batteries by Jabberwock, but I haven't found any information on the actual replacement.

After the replacement of the battery, what would be reset? I know probably the basics like the clock is probably gonna be reset, but does the LS430 have a radio code or something similar to that?

P.S.: This car has the nav, don't know if that matters.

Anything helps! Thanks.

Replaced my battery two weeks ago. Didn't have to reset anything. Car remembered it all.

Here is the thread:

Same here. Car remembered everything. But I replaced it quickly. Just try not to leave the battery off for like 15 mins or so.

For those who do not want to rush. There are devices with attached 12V batteries you can plug in the lighter that will provide enough juice to keep memory intact (radio, seats positions, etc...) when no battery connected.
