VVTI Repinning
Long story short i pulled the wires out of my solenoid, so i ordered a new connector with the things to repin, can anyone clue me in on how to recrimp this?

This thread might be a good start.
It doesn't show the entire process in detail but it does have a few pics of the shell detached from the wires.
I'd love to see more content on this subject. I think we're all in the same boat with aging/crumbling plastic connectors.
The replacement shells are fairly cheap from the dealer. Next time I'm at a salvage yard I'd like to grab a random Toyota connector to practice on.
Get comfortable with the process/tools and start slowly replacing as many as possible under the hood.

according to a friend a tool is needed. I on the other hand stuck the wire as far back as possible & mashed the beginning of it so it stays in.
