Default vvti and non vvti compatability??

Quick question, are the vvti and non vvti short blocks the same? i know the heads are different but are the blocks different? i.e. can I put my non vvti head on a vvti block. thanks

i'd say yes. i dont think its like VTEC motors where there are additional oiling paths to the head.

I believe there is one but it can be blocked off........???? dunno for sure though
