Default Bubble in Tire - Spare Tire Question

Hi All,

Got a bubble in my tire and I'm 1200 miles away from home. I have continental Purecontacts on the car, but my spare is a bridgestone tire (probably was an active tire before). Tread wear is about the same as on my purecontacts, +/- 2/32 nd's i would say by eyeing it. Do you think i can get get back home with the spare, where I can then think about a better solution?

PS: Sad that having a full size spare is becoming a rarity, but glad we have one .

Spare should be fine. Check the manufacturing date, though. If it's 10 years old, though, and with only 2/32 left, it might be pushing it. You could get a cheap spare at Discount tire for $100 and then replace the other 4 when you get home.
