OK,..this is a bad exmaple of the problem (?) I notice with my car's RPMs slowing down on a rev.

When I rev it for the second time up to 5K RPM it slows down at like 4K. It seems when the engine is cold there is mosre friction and the engine feels more 'tight'..whne it's warmed up it's very viscous and I'd imagine the pistons feeling like they are moving through water instead of something thicker like oil. Car has pretty much always done this..not an oil change issue..more like a temperature thing.

When it's warmed up it starts slowing at like 2K or less. Also on the return down, you can hear a loud hissing noise from the exhaust somewhere. It's either the cats leaking or the rear mufflers.
