94 ls400 radio wire harness question
I've purchased the metra dash kit and the wire harness which is labeled for 1987 toyota and up. It is the harness that came with the kit.
i'm installing everything until i came to the harness and was puzzled. The harness does not fit into the factory harness. Its too small and the colors does not match up.
If you have a 94 and installed a harness on your car please help me.
Did your aftermarket harness plug directly into the factory harness or did you have to cut and splice?
if you had to cut and splice can you tell me what colors to coordinate?
I know it takes a long time to disassemble everything but is there a way for you to take a picture and show me what it looks like?
I went to lexls.com and saw a picture but it was unclear and what it looked like.
The first picture is of the factory harness plugs
the second picture is the aftermarket wire harness plug

is that the wire harness that came with the head unit? or is it the separate one that u bought,
basically all u do is take the harness that plugs into the head unit and match up the colors with the other wire harness that plugs into the stock wires. green with green, blue with blue u no the deal

the harness for the aftermarket radio is even more simpler.
