what wiring harness do i have? HEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!
hello all!
new to this forum!
I'm a member over at lextreme but this forum is completely new to me
i bought an engine with a harness that i believe to be an ls400 engine and harness.. it enters on the right side of the car etc.. but it's cut!
I have another harness that i got from another engine which entered the car on the left side.. it's obviously not a usdm harness.. it's got 2 of the 4 plugs i have on the ls400 computer i have.. BUT it's not the same harness.. there are a couple things a little different.. also things like wire colours etc are different..

it has a 26 pin plug and a 16 pin plug on it.. i do not have the 22 pin plug.. what do i do? is this the same harness as an ls400 harness?
I noticed that some of the pins on this 22 pin connector are for the same things on the other 2 connectors.. these i imagine i'll be able to splice into the same connector.. dont know for sure because i have no wiring diagram for this particular harness.. i guess a good starting point would be to figure out what vehicle this came from..
it was for sure not a front sump engine.. it was either rear sump or mid sump..
any help would be appreciated..

Sounds like you may have a wire harness from a JDM spec engine. First step would be to try to figure out where the harness came from and post up a pic of the harness you have, showing location on the engine etc. This may help in having someone here with a little more knowledge than me to help you identify.
