I need a little help here. first, how do you get the park distance control to show up on the nav display screen? second, how do you turn the damned daytime running lights off? thanks in advance.

Press the Options button then "Information". Park Assist is a button on that menu - you can change its sensitivity, sound and display on/off.

Daytime running lights are part of the C-Best system that the dealership sets - ask them to change Option 8:-

1st visit to dealer after purchase 10/30/02, asked tech to disable DRL. He did, alls well, but code change also disabled fog lights. FYI
