Lexus Navigation Update

I have a '98 GS3 with the Navigation system. Is it worth getting the update hard drive for it? Can you do the upgrade yourself or does a dealer need to do it?

The dealer has to do it as they keep the old HD. The update is worth it if you need the added POI's and updated streets

Do they charge extra for doing this or they will do it when you buy the upgrade?

Its a 10 minute process. it should cost you about 300 out the door!!
