Default BLUETOOTH phone

Does anyone know if a MOTOROLA Timeport 270 will "talk" with the 2004 LS 430s Navigation system
I have a new LS & want to take advantage of hands free calling. I also do not want to switch from
VERIZON wireless ( unless I absolutely have to) & this seems like the only bluetooth phone that
is compatable with VERIZON Wireless... Any thoughts????? IDEAS??????

Most of the Bluetooth phones on the current market are GSM (Sony/Ericsson and Siemens) and therefore do not work on Verizon's system (CDMA). The 270c is Bluetooth enabled, but if my memory serves me (this isn't in the marketplace as a current model) you have to buy an accessory for it in order to make it fully enabled in your car. You would need to check with your dealer on that, though.

A thought would be to transport your existing number over to Cingular, AT&T or T-Mobile, and take advantage of the many Bluetooth capable phones.
