carbon fiber bug may have bit
Saw this trunk floating around on the local forum for about a month and figured I couldn't pass up the deal, however I dont like the look of a full trunk/hood in CF... so I brought out the dremel, plastic body panel repair, and Patriot's jersey and sat for 8 hours watching football and customizing my trunk.
Here is a quick picture I got in before it got too dark.
I'm not sure I like where I put the F, I did fill all of the trunk holes so I will not be putting the "Lexus" or "is" back on, but might move the F back.

Good work. The carbon fiber body panel looks is not my personal choice for this car, but done right it looks good. That's one of the nice things about the IS-F. You can keep it completely stock and it looks good, you can mod it to look like a track/race/tuner car, or you can go with a more "Lexus" look (some would say VIP, but I'm not talking air suspension and crazy negative camber).
For the look that you're going for, I'd probably get my roof wrapped to match. You've got that gunmetal/carbon/and blue accent look going on and it flows.
