Those with subs, did you disconnect OEM Sub?
Just wondering whats your setup and did you notice a difference keeping it or disconnecting the OEM Sub? Pros Cons?

I disconnected it. Didn't seem to be doing much more than being a piece of metal and a magnet. I put a pioneer sub where it used to be. That way it looks stock and I didn't lose truck space.

Manchild, did the Pioneer sub fit without any modifications? what model did you use? Thanks

I left it in out of being lazy. Just hoping the pulses dont cancel eachother out... I have a feeling they might. But not really too concerned about it.

I installed a 500W amp and 12" isobaric enclosure, all JL Audio. I used the amp's high-level inputs tapping right off the stock subwoofer's +/- terminals. Didn't even mess with the factory amp. Very easy install. I left the stock subwoofer connected because I thought it would still contribute higher-frequency bass, and I didn't want to cut those wires, there's not a lot of slack if you ever want to splice them back together.
