Default Hood hinge swap

I have a hood hinge I need to swap. It is stuck and very hard to open the hood.
Can someone point me out the procedure?
Do I need to remove fender?

It's on an ISF by the way.
Thanks

I've never done it before but you'll need a socket wrench and a friend to help. Since you're only removing one, you may be able to get away with removing the one side you need to replace and hold it up with the factory hood prop or something a bit longer that will allow you to install the new hinge. If both are removed there's sometimes the issue of the hood not aligning with the fenders (which you don't have to remove). Good luck.

Do one at a time and you should be fine.

Don't mean to ask a stupid question, but... Have you tried lubricating the hinge?

What kind of lube did you use?
