Guys I am a big supporter of Plasti Dip ... I wonder if it would work under your hood in case you ever felt the need to change colors or revert back to stock ... I think it holds up to heat very well as others have used it to paint wheels and brake embers at the track don't seem to damage it
Nice Josh. How's the air scoop holding up? I decided to leave that one piece alone because the rubber liner from the hood goes across that part, and I'm not sure how it will hold up. Can you see evidence of the paint fading in that area?
Thanks Rey. It's holding up well man, better than I expected. I don't see any evidence of fading whatsoever. The only issues is around the bolt where it chipped off a little bit because of me unscrewing and screwing back on. I used the plasti-dipped with the high temp engine clear over so it's pretty strong.

Yup, I used plasti with my engine covers. I sprayed a few coats then added clear high temp engine paint that duplicolor sells. It's been solid since.
