Default Question about the IS before i buy one

My uncle told me these cars have electrical problems.

Is this true? And if It is what kind of problem are they known for?

Never had any electrical issues with mine and i'm at 150k. I'd say the only issue I've heard from a few different people including myself is having to replace the o2 sensor when the CEL is on. I'd say it's a very mechanically sound car and I've never had any issues with mine. *knock on wood*

I think that function comes standard, if you have your temp set to below 60 degrees it automatically turns on the A/C when you turn on the fan, but if you have the temp set above 60 or 70 the A/C doesn't turn on when you turn on the fan.

I think your uncle must have this confused with an american made car. lol

But seriously I never had any trouble with either of the two IS's that I owned.
