Lightbulb Averaging 25 MPG with the staggered 20" Vossen's..

So I was slightly concerned that MPG would suffer some since I now have the 20" CV3s. Specs

245/35/20-20x9-27 lbs
275/30/20-20x10.5-28 lbs

They are clearly wider than the stock

245/40/18-18x8-??lbs

wheels. I've now had them on for 3 months and for the past few weeks I'm averaging 25.2 MPG. This is around 35/65 city/hwy driving. This is right around where I average when I drive the car at the speed limit and don't act like a hooligan. So in the future I will definitely upgrade wheels/tires in regards to hybrids.

Just wanted to give people an update who are concerned about negative effects of MPG in regards to upgrading rims/tires.

I do think city driving might be lower but I'm not sure as I think it was also some crappy gas from some local gas stations I now avoid. Saw some 19/20 MPG figures with 90/10 City/Highwy driving. That has not returned luckily.

Nice to see that nothing changed cause I was thinking about upgrading my rims, what tires do you have on there currently.

What tires... MY tires AND rims. Give it up Mike, time to send those wheels up to Chicago. I'll slap a bunch of Vossen stickers on my car.

vossen wheels aren't that heavy, shouldn't see much of a gas mileage change going to 20s
