I just finished fixing both mirrors on my `08 GX. Total cost = $12 + 2 hours work.
I`m a pretty handy guy so if you`re not capable of handling a philips screwdriver and electronic connectors, please do not try this.
I bought a can of `Electronics Contact Cleaner` for $12 at my local electronic supplier. Took the whole thing apart with the aid of the TSIB provided by lexus (Attached PDF file). NOTE: You do not need to disconnect the battery during this procedure; however make sure your car is turned off the whole time you`re working on this.
I used the Contact Cleaner and sprayed every electronic component I found inside the Actuator, greased the plastic parts and put it back together.
My mirrors are now working perfectly fine
Good Luck!!

The images are all broken in the links. Anyone have pics of replacing the actuator?
Also when you all are talking about cleaning the contacts are you talking about the interior switch or the window actuator?

pics and instructions come with the part...it’s a 10 minute repair. Did it many years ago
