headlight no turn off

If a door or the trunk is not closed properly, the headlights will not turn off. If everything is closed properly and you're still having problems, you may want to take your car to the dealer.

Thats the odd thing. If a door is left open, the headlights should never go off. My thought was that a door sensor was malfunctioning and it was keeping one door unlocked...but I no longer think thats the case.
Try opening and closing all the doors and the trunk and see if it still does that...

Richard,
Try this test... If the car is ON and lights are ON or in Auto.. Before opening the drivers door, turn OFF the vehicle..
Then proceed in opening the drivers door and exiting...
The lights should then turn off by timer or turn off on double lock command on remote..
Give it a try..!!
