UCA bolt spinning when tightening?
Not sure if this is normal but I'm connecting the arm from the hub assembly to the upper control arm, when tightening the nut the bolt on the uca spins. Is this normal? If so is there a alen screw or something I'm suppose to hold down so the nut can be tightened.
If this isn't normal do I need to get new uca?
Thx!

Can’t remove castle nut from UCA
Hi,
I have the same problem, 2006 Lexus is350, and putting a jack underneath the LCA and put pressure on the ball joint helped. However, I have no luck on the driver’s side using the same method. The stud would spin regardless of how much pressure I put on using the jack. I think I maxed out the pressure using the jack.
Does anyone have an alternative way to remove the nut? I put wd40 on the nut but still didn’t move. I was just trying to replace my old strut with tein coilovers. Can I take out and install new strut by skipping the uca ball joint altogether? Any advice or suggestions is very much appreciated.

You can try to jam a block of wood between the uca and frame and then try the jack method again. You will be able to get more pressure on the ball joint that way.
But you're posting in the wrong subforum though, this is for 2nd gen GS.
