Default Stripped bolt/nut

Hey guys, what's up? Has anyone stripped the UCA bolt? Well I did. The same thing happened the the sway bar link. I had to grind it off and slip in a new bolt and screw with loc tite. I took it up a notch....while tightening down the bolt with the torque wrench, it all of a sudden go really loose.... I can't tighten the bolt or loosen it. It's far enough up to get the codder pin thru for safety. Everyone we me and the lex luck.....I'm takin' it out for a test drive!!

I noticed this happening to mine also. But I tapped the knuckle arm onto the ball joint so that the ball joint stud went snug into to the knuckle arm. Since the ball joint stud is tapered, once you seat it snuggly into the knuckle arm it won't turn any more and you should be able to tighten the nut.

Cool, I will try it!! The test drive went well. I still get the clunking tho. Since I've got so much into the front end already, I might as well get the front shocks and strut mounts. I am beginning to think these are the coulprit. I guess it needed it anyway.....98k of city driving...little to no highway. It does drive nice, still a little twitchy, but much quieter than before. This all started because a station wanted 400$ just to do a LBJ. lol
