LED FogLights
I have aftermarket HID headlights on my ES 350. My lexus sadly did not come with led fog lights. Would I be able to purchase LED Fog Light bulbs from my local Lexus and install them into my car?

You'll buy a whole replacement fixture for each fog light. Got mine at Sewell. Easy to DIY.

Dude, forget buying a conversion kit or installing a ballast and swapping your whole fog light housing, why go through the hassle and cost ? Just buy a pair of 5000K LED bulbs and simply change the bulb. They match my stock HIDs almost perfectly and the beam is strong enough to be used as a DRL. You want the H11 LED bulbs.

Lastly as mentioned, you can get a LED fog light housing as well but will cost more.

I burnt my housing again! This time with aftermarket halogen bulbs and the first time with 35w HIDs. I'm going to look into the newer models fog lights. Can anyone tell me if its plug and play with the connection similar like the bulbs or will I have to rig something up?

2014+ ES300h's come with LED foglights, these should be a plug and play install. Could be expensive though. I wish we had JDM ultra yellowish fogs because the white LED fogs are useless in fog.

Yeah I didn't like my OEM lights that came on the 13 year model. Had HIDs 35w and made it much better but notice it started to melt the housing. Replace them with new from Lexus cost me about $300 for both can't remember the exact price and I thought I had gotten 35w 3000k and I noticed the bulb wasn't in correctly. Had time to check it today I came to find the bulb was melted to the housing, as I take a closer look the bulbs were stamped with "55w" .
I want to make sure someone confirms its plug and play before I pocket out a few hundred dollars again. Or if some with a newer model take a pic of the connections for me to compare it to a 13 model

I'm pretty sure someone on here made the swap back in early '14. I'll try and search for it later. Back when Sewell was still selling parts to us, both assemblies could be had for around $170. If I didn't just buy a set of aftermarket LED's to replace the stock bulbs, I would have jumped on it.

i installed the LED housing from a 2014(5)+ about 2 weeks ago and wanted to share my results.
They're plug and play. Removing the old Assembly and installing the LED only took me about a hour or so. Could of taken me less but it's hard to get a jack under my car since I'm lowered and had to stop a few times when dust and debris fell into my eyes. I highly recommend safety glasses if you're going to do this mod. But all you have to do is partially remove the splash shield and two screws are holding the housing. I'm happy with the look and having working lights again but my HIDs were brighter which is understandable. total cost for the lights were around $260 I believe, I bought directly from Toyota Motor co, and had a local dealer delivered to the shop same day as order.
