Wanted to buy Nav console
Hi,
I recently bought 2007 ES 350 used with no navigation, i found in ebay original center console with navigation, is it worth to buy it to replace my existing center console? Will it get configured to non navigation car? What are other wires harness I should look for to fit into my car? I also wanted to add rear view camera to my car ? Any suggestions?

I read your thread and saw the pic, its color look different than the regular radio color, do we get something that matches the color and fits into existing console? I read abt flyaudio it matches perfectly not sure if it is reliable for longer run, any idea's?

A lot of receivers have a color choices. I'll check mine again but I'm almost positive that the color is completely adjustable across the spectrum.

Hi Robert_J - I shopped around all the major Audio sound stores, they showed me kenmoore, pioneer, Alpine etc but every one has the same concept they will replace the radio from the bottom part of the console and fix this double din by doing this the I will not be able to see the "Lexus" stamp on the console and the 6 cd changer is also gone along with it. Did you experience the same?

Anytime you replace the head unit with a aftermarket double din head unit you lose the factory "Lexus" stamp unfortunately, I've had people suggest having it silk screened onto the new double din mount to keep the factory look. You will never get the options you want out of this fly audio unit although it looks very nice and OEM.
As for the 6 disc maybe they still sell units that hold 6 discs in the trunk? I'm not sure as CDs are kinda a thing from the past. Or load up a iPod with as may albums as it can hold as all new head units have a aux in or iPod control.
I added a picture of my install just so you can see the factory look can be retained and you can still have what you want for options. I personally did not buy a ES with the NAV as it didn't have what I wanted for stereo options and there much harder to swap for a aftermarket unit.

Thanks Sick350, your pic was exactly the store persons explained and showed me, that made me little nervous to see. In previous threads I did see flip4 installed flyaudio unit which looked exactly same as the original lexus with navigation. that was kind of mindset I had when I went into audio store but reality was different. Yeah you are right, I may never play cd's in my car but loosing that option was also little dishartening. I asked quote for flyaudio unit and Roadrover, if I can get 1 unit may be i will go with that else replace same as shown above..thanks

Yes, I lost my 6 disc changer and I don't miss it. I listed to compressed music in WMA 320kbps format on my changer on CD-Rs. At 700MB each, that gave me 3.5 GB. The SD card in my Pioneer is 32GB (almost 10 times the storage of the changer) and the USB memory stick is 64GB (almost 20 times the storage). I went from the ability to store 600 songs in the changer to the ability to store 18,000 songs on two solid state devices. That doesn't include the DVD player (another 6.4GB of storage) which my wife usually has loaded with a concert DVD.
