Default new ballast and head light...
so my headlight went out and I took it in to be replaced. they are indicating that my ballast is bad as well. cost to replace the ballast and headlight is just over $600....sound right?!?

how do they determine the ballast is shot anyway? i would just change the headlight first, 200+ at lexus prices, way less on ebay.

Used ballasts are $50-70 on eBay. I'd replace the bulb first, then buy a used one. That's far too much money for a ballast and bulb.
