Yea, you read it right, it had 3,150 miles on it. I couldn't believe it. The previous 1 owner, drove it for 1 mile a day basically.

The car was garaged 100% of the time. The car is in Pristine condition basically. Gold color, beige interior. Saw it at a lexus used car lot. Test drove it, and I just had to buy it. Felt like a brand new car, or a manager special car where the manager drive it for fun, as a new car that is.

My question is for everybody here is: What kind of problem should I be expecting?

I did end up getting a 5 year, 50,000 miles warranty just in case. Just to make myself feel better and not have to worry about having gotten a used car.

Was the oil ever changed since it came from the factory in 2007?
With 1 mile drives, thats about as extreme as it gets for oil change intervals.

As Neluxus88 posted,oil changes were very important.Probably a lot of condensation in the oil for who knows how long with all the short trips.
Also tires are 7-8 years old and not used much.Check tires for cracks and rot.
In fact,I'd get a new set.

Thanks for the tips. The 1 mile drive was a statistical calculation. Not that the guy really drove it 1 mile a day. I think the car basically didn't get driven after it was bought. How do I check the tires for cracks and rot? Do I basically just physically check if the tires on the outside, or on the tread? or both?

I don't think the oil was changed during those times thought :-(

The car basically just sat idle for 7 years in a very good garaged condition.

If the Lexus dealer sold it with 50k warranty, I would ASSUME that the oil was changed.but that info should be available from the dealer as to when the last oil change was done. If your not happy with the answer you get, take an oil sample and get it analyzed when its due for a change. As far as the tires are concerned, what brand and model of tire are on the car? Tires that were manufactured 8 years ago haven't been available for quite some time and there is a date code on the tires. Is the spare tire the same as the others? Sounds like a great find to me.

First of all, I got the price below the lowest Trade-in Condition on KBB, pretty much on par with the wholesaler price.

the oil was changed by the dealership, but not the original owner, because I cannot find any info on the carfax. I assume this because all I see on carfax is 7 registration renewals.

its Toyo tires, I'm not sure what model it is because it is night time and I will report back tomorrow of what they are.

There are some minor surface cracks forming on the tires. I might take into consideration and replace them for safety reasons.

I drove it some more today and it is absolutely gorgeous. I have some photos I took at the dealership if you guys wanna see them.

The tires will have a date code on them as part of the DOT number on the sidewall. You can sort that out on the Tire Rack website as well as other sites. That date will help you determine if the tires are original or something newer.

15000 is a good price. What is it equipped with? If the car was truly indoor there is nothing to worry about other than oil.

The driver seat look pretty rough. Mine with 60K looks 100 times better. I don't get that.

Ha, it is probably the bad camera angle. I took it quickly through the window shot to show my friends. I also just sat in it for quite some time moments before I took that photo.

The leather is really soft, so it doesn't bounce back right away from imprints. The backseat imprints are from me testing my baby seats.

Unless there is known case of faking the odometer, there is really no doubt in my mind this car is in an incredibly good quality for such an old model.

It does not have Nav.

It has memory seats, that back window shade thingy. the HIDs?

I don't know too much of what was standard that year model.

6 CD changer, cooling and heating seats, keyless entry, and other stuff.
