Default NAV upgrade ?

Getting ready to upgrade on our 2010. Will I lose all of the prior destination information?

Not sure but doubtful. The map updates should just update POI's and any mapping changes. You could call Lexus Customer Service or check with the dealership where you'll have the work done.

Is this your first Upgrade since 2010? I always thought you had to upgrade each year. Anyone
know? Thanks!

You don't HAVE to update. It's strictly voluntary. Most years there are so few changes that it doesn't make financial sense to update. At $250-$300 a pop it's best to wait a few years to have it done.

I've never upgraded my 07. It would be nice if Lexus would upgrade the operating system, like Apple just went to IOS7. But with Lexus the only way to upgrade the nav is to buy a new car. Damn sad a 3 year old phone gets a better operating system FOR FREE but your 40k car never gets a functionally better navigation system ever.

I understand from my Lexus dealer that new maps will be available in November 2013.
