New Pre-Owned 2008 Starfire Pearl GS460 Owner
Hi everyone, I noticed a number of new pre-owned GS460 owners the past few weeks. Well, I'm adding myself to the mix. I just picked up a 2008 Starfire Pearl GS460 over the weekend.
It came with the following options from the factory:
It also has these parts installed by the previous owner:
The GS replaced my previous daily driver, a 2005 Lexus IS300
Shameless plug for my weekend car, a 2007 Honda S2000
Where the transaction took place--in the dark, of course
And here is the GS
Okay, I know what you're thinking. All white cars right? After owning silver, beige, black, dark grey, I've settled on white. And plus all three of the cars pictured look great in white anyway. Perhaps I will venture off and experiment with other colors in the future. Anyway, I've only recently begun to lurk on CL so I wanted to say Hopefully I will meet some of you in the future.

it's been fun owning this car and meeting everyone with it, yup, just picked up the Cayenne friday so my friend also picked up the GS. Glad he's the new owner instead of Carmax or seeing it auctioned off to some other country
We picked up the CT a while ago for the wifey so I mostly lurk in the CT subforum now

Henry!!! good to see you are still so active on CL considering you are probably on the Ferrari/lambo territory with the way you upgrade your cars

I don't think I can put together anything better than Kevin did in this post
DIY: Parking light/ D4S HID low + Xenondepot 194 LED

that's with the old HID Low, I've since replaced them with the Philips 6000k during my disappearance in forum for a few years to get married lol
gshoq - I would just keep the film to a point where you can't stand it, you are right, it's impossible to keep it perfect after so many years, but once you heat them and pull them off, the front end of the car should look fairly clean

I don't plan on removing the film any time soon since it looks just fine to me. I prefer paint protection over slight improvements in aesthetics. I wish I had done the clear wrap on my S2000 since there are now a number of small rock chips that could potentially be large bubbles once the clear wrap gets applied.
