headliner removal
I've searched with no answers. How does one remove the vanity mirrors and handles from the headliner? I need to take it out soon to be re wrapped and wanted to make sure not to brake anything.
All of the pillars are a piece of cake but im not sure if the handles come off with the whole headliner or not.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Vanity mirrors - You have to take off the plastic that surrounds the arm of the vanity mirror, underneath you will find two screws that hold the thing down. The other part of the vanity mirror is just a clip.
Handles - You have to pull it down, pry off the two plastic corners of each handle, just get a small screwdriver. After that the handle is held by clips that you can push in and pull out the handle.

Sorry to bump an old thread, But I was wondering also... I want to dynamat my roof...
When I got PDR from some small hail, they charged 300 bucks just to remove/install the headliner.. It was crazy considering they only charged 15 bucks to remove and install the hood and 25 to remove the trunk and liner.... It couldnt be easy...

Its a beeautch! The grab handles are tricky but everything else is rather straight forward if you take your time. Pull up the Body parts diagram on Sewell and you can see all of the clips on the headliner that have to pop out after you've removed all common sense parts.
I had to remove both front seats and steering wheel when I took my headliner out!! Any little crease in the material and you'll regret not taking the extra 30mins to pull the seats and wheel.
