I too am new to this forum, and have used it to seek advise and parts as I'm restoring a 1998 SC400. I've read some quite hostile responses from certain members and am very glad to see someone stepping up to the plate and providing leadership. I agree that as this car continues to drift lower and lower in price, you are bound to get individuals who do not have the background nor experience base to communicate on a forum such as this.

I'm confident that as individuals see themselves banned, frozen out, or in some other means isolated, the tone of communication will return to the sense of community, respect, and support we all desire to see.

If there are issues, please use the exclamation button on your panel (lower left side) to alert us. We want to help but we cannot be everywhere, thus it helps to "alert" us of issues.

The moderator team will try to clean up as soon as possible. Thanks!!!

I am PERSONALLY taking an interest in monitoring and cleaning up this forum. Last time I did it was about 4 years ago. Time for the street sweeper

I am a newer member here, and I love the advice and the knowledge that exists in this community. I am a car guy at heart, and have a mechanical background (though not much experience). I learn day to day, and I appreciate all of the shared knowledge as I will share my experiences and knowledge with others. I look forward to a rewarding experience with my SC, and hopefully will get to meet several of the great people in this community.

Hey guys soon to be a sc3 owner and im trying to find some reliable aftermarket online parts suppliers commonly used by members here. And maybe Im looking in the wrong area but im also trying to familiarize myself with sc300 diy maintainence (tools needed, timing belt, water pump, head removal, etc), maybe I can get a few links in the right direction. Thanx

I've been on this forum for maybe a month and a half 2 months and I dont ask questions to start convos because I'm convinced I'll be met with a hostile answer or just a smart *** answer in general. So I search and if I have a more intricate question to a aforementioned question in an old search I just don't bother or I ask on my local forum.

As a plus on the other side of the equation, I have seen a lot of great replies for myself and others lately. Got incredible support of my sequential twins issue as of late compared to SF and it really put a smile on my face. One look at comments on YouTube will evidence an uphill battle.

Good thread and great reminder of the of the beginners we all once were on this car.
