How do you Remove Subwoofer in the Rear Deck?
Just thought before i go in the trying to just pull off the speaker screen that i get some info about removing it. I want to replace it with one of the many 12" aftermarket speakers i have in my garage. The original Lexus speaker tends to pop at higher volumes. So is there anything i need to know?

It pretty easy to remove, I think there are 4 bolts holding it it. You have to remove the backseat and the pull the whole rear deck cover forward. After that you should be able to see the bolts. Fitting a 12 isnt going to be as easy as you think. You will have to make a new baffle for it, the stock sub is a 10.

Not really. The backseat is 2 pieces, the seat, and then the back. Just pull up on the bottom of the seat and it should pop out. Then there are 4 10 or 12mm bolts holding the back in place. After that, like I said, that rear deck cover slides forward, but I think there are some pins you have to remove first.

I have a 12" sub in the back of mine I replaced my stock sub for a 12" kicker free air sub, and if fit with no problems, kinda weak tho the factory amp doesnt push it as well as the stock one.

The factory amp is what sucks. I replaced the amp with a Soundstream edge 5 channel and got an eclipse head unit with everything I needed to wire it up for $460 shipped. www.millionbuy.com is where I got the equiptment. Their shipping speed is amazing.
