To remove the rear sub, you dont need to totally remove the rear deck, just lift in from its existing position.

Here's is what you need to do to remove rear sub

Remove the rear headrests. At the location of each headrest is a leather flap can be lifted. Each flap is held in place via some type of velcro. Once each flap is lifted, you will see two nuts that need to be removed. Once you have done this, remove the rear set bench. It is just held securely to the car via some heavy duty snaps. Pull up on the seat real good and it will snap off. Push the seatbelt holders thru the seat and remove the bench. Once you have removed the bench, you can see four more bolts holding the back of the rear seat in place. You should remove these. Once these are removed, you should be able to pull the seat towards the front of the car. The seat belts are still secured to the back of the rear seat and this is slighlty uncomfortable to deal with but doable. If you want to totally remove the rear seat, there are a couple of phillips screws for each seat belt holder. If you remove these screws from each seat belt holder, the entire rear seat assembly can be removed from car and give you more room to play with. Once the rear seat has been pulled forward or removed, you should see some plastic pushthrough holders fastening the front of the deck to the car. You should be careful removing these, they break quite easily but can be removed carefully. Once these are removed, the rear deck cover can be lifted just enough to access the four phillips screws holding down the rear sub speaker. Once these four phillips screws are undone and the speaker wiring cut, you can remove the stock sub. Now do everything backwards to put everything back. This whole process should take about 30 minutes to do. Hope that helps.

Use a product such as dynamat (or raammat or other brands) and tape down everything that can move underneath
