You have to remove the seat back to remove the back shelf to access the sub.

To remove the seat back, you have to take off the headrests, (to remove those 2 bolts) then open up the center console, and remove bolts from behind there... that should give you enough access to tilt the seat back.

The Screws dont budge even with wd-40 so I still didnt get it done but do you think i should do it anyways???? The whole back seat is like bulletproof and all there is is that 1 little whole, will it make a diff or should i leave it in.

Thanks,

Aaron

Which one wouldnt budge? to remove the sub, I thought you needed to remove the shelf... but I could be wrong. But I thought there were some screw you are not able to see until you remove the shelf... can anyone else confirm this?

u have to remove the entire rear seat, both bottom and back in order to get the rear deck off, so you can acess the screws.

despite the generation gap this tutorial applies almost unchanged to your car.

There is also a quick way of doing it , atleast i did another way.
If you pop up the sub cover then use a wrench and all 4 bolts then you can lift it out of the hole

If you angle it enough it pulls right up.
